Clip and Snip
Clip and Snip have been open since 2012 and offers dog grooming services from Hardwicke.
Services include everything from just a nail clip to full pet grooms, as well as puppy intro sessions.
Working from home means that very flexible hours are possible. Daytime, weekend and evening appointments are available. Due to great flexibility, appointments can usually be offered within a week.

Grooming
All dogs need grooming, even very short-haired breeds benefit from a brush out. Longer haired breeds will need regular brushing to avoid possible matting.
Matting can be painful for dogs as the fur tightens and pulls the skin. Skin irritations and sores can occur.
Whilst I am happy to brush and thin out a few odd mats, under the welfare of animals act I am unable to spend long periods of time de-matting a dog. In these cases, a dog will be shaved off and should be put on a regular grooming schedule.
Free advice with maintaining your dog's coat at home is always on offer either over the phone or in person.
Deshedding
With the exception of a few breeds, most will shed their coats throughout the year or all year! Booking your dog in for deshedding will help keep the coat healthy and shiny. Deshedding includes a bath, dry thorough brush out, nails and ear clean. It's amazing how much hair will come out with even the shortest haired breeds
Haircut
Regardless of your pet’s breed, age or behaviour, each of my services can be created to fit their specific needs — no matter how unique. My haircut service is one of my specialities and is often booked well in advance.
Services
A short visual health check will be given to every dog. This includes checking teeth, ears, eyes, feeling for lumps, checking skin, feet pads and nails. Any concerns will be discussed with the owner upon collection. Please be advised I am not a vet and no veterinary advice will be given. I will however advise a vet if I feel it to be necessary.
